A large UK order of cast iron bench legs is now ready. Production is done. Quality checks passed. Shipment prepared. Read the factory update.
A big production run of cast iron bench legs has just been completed. The order belongs to a UK customer. These legs will go to their dealer network across Britain. We are now preparing them for shipment.
All pieces were inspected after casting. Our team checked for cracks and surface defects. No major issues were found. A small number of units required rework. Those were fixed and reinspected. The final pass rate is one hundred percent.
These bench legs are made from grey cast iron. Material certificates can be provided. Each leg weighs 2.8 kilograms. The height is 420 millimeters. Four mounting holes are pre-drilled. This matches the customer’s technical drawing.
The production process took four weeks. Molding and pouring were done in our foundry. Cooling was carefully controlled. Shot blasting removed all scale. A black powder coating was then applied. This coating prevents rust during storage.
Quality control happens at three stages. First, raw material is checked. Second, castings are inspected after cooling. Third, final bench legs are measured one by one. A random sample was also load tested. Results are within the required limit.
Packing is now complete. Each pair of bench legs goes into a poly bag. Ten pairs are placed in a corrugated carton. Foam inserts stop movement inside the box. Labels show the part number and quantity. Palletizing follows a load plan sent by the buyer.
Shipment will leave our factory next Monday. The freight forwarder has been booked. Documents are being prepared. These include the packing list and certificate of conformance. A commercial invoice is also ready.
Dealers can expect delivery within fifteen working days. Tracking numbers will be shared with the UK customer first. They will then distribute the information to their network. No delay is expected at the port.
This order used a dedicated production line. No other products were mixed in. That is why the bench legs all look identical. Consistency is important for furniture assembly. Dealers will not find mismatched pairs.
We have made cast iron components for seven years. The UK customer has worked with us for two of those years. This is their largest single order so far. Past batches all arrived without complaints. The same quality standard applies today.
A final walkthrough was done yesterday. Factory management signed off on the release. Photographs of random samples were sent to the buyer. They approved the finish and hole alignment. No changes were requested.
The loading plan has been confirmed. Twenty pallets will fill half of a forty-foot container. The remaining space holds other export orders. Separate aisles are kept for each buyer. This avoids mixing at the destination warehouse.
All inspection records are kept on file. A digital copy will be emailed to the customer. Hard copies travel with the goods. Any dealer can request a summary from the UK head office.
Production of new bench legs will start next month. That will be a different design. For now, this batch is fully finished. We are waiting only for the final shipping instruction. Once received, the goods will move to the port.
Every step followed our standard operating procedure. No shortcuts were taken. The casting temperature was logged. Cooling time was recorded. Coating thickness was measured. All numbers sit inside the acceptable range.
Dealers can trust this shipment. The bench legs are ready. Quality is confirmed. Delivery is scheduled. No hidden problems exist. This is a straightforward completion of a straightforward order.
